Building bridges across cultures
Culture Club - Building Bridges Together
The goal of Every Nations Center is to build bridges and increase global worldview between the local community, the growing international neighbor population, and our neighbors around the world.
Culture Club is currently our most popular program for building these bridges. Once a week or once a month (depending on the agreed upon timing) we "travel" to a country to learn about their culture through food, games, pictures, stories, songs, and/or crafts. Each person receives a passport (not a government official one, sorry), stamps for each country visited, and a greater understanding of how each culture is unique, yet similar to each other. We have gone to Kenya, Spain, Germany, Thailand, Turkey, Iceland, Columbia, New Zealand, S. Korea, and many more!
We have offered these clubs through Greater Holland Boys and Girls Club, Holland YMCA, The Bridge in Zeeland, Momentum Center (Holland and Grand Haven), Howard Miller Public Library. We would love to offer more! Do you have an after school program? Home school program? Church group? No limits! Let's talk and see if this program would be right for your community.
As we expand our Culture Club we now in partnership with the Howard Miller Library in Zeeland offer sessions for the whole family!! Watch our Event page for upcoming events!!
